October 1, 2008 - Hartsdale, NY -- Fox2 St. Louis and Varsity Networks have partnered to a launch MyFoxPrepzone.com, a new online site focused on high school sports in the St. Louis area, and to offer all teams a free team web site.

FOX2 St. Louis General Manager Spencer Koch and Varsity Networks CEO Paul Bauersfeld announced the launch today.

MyFoxPrepzone.com is the central web site for all information about local high school sports in St. Louis. Included on the site are schedules, scores, photos and videos from the hundreds of teams using the free Varsity Networks team site service. In addition to aggregating the team created content, MyFoxPrepzone.com will also feature original content, polls and contests created by FOX2.

Varsity Networks provides every high school team a easy to use, reliable, and free communication tools and a web site to manage their sports team online.

Each team site is the center for communication between coaches, players, parents and alumni with shared statistics, schedules, rosters, rankings, photos, videos, stories and alumni histories. Because of the built in tools, maintaining a site for a coach requires only as much time as they are willing to put in - most of the content can be created by members of the teams larger sports community (players, parents, boosters, alumni). A Varsity Networks team site helps every high school sports team in St. Louis stay connected, motivate players, develop tradition and raise funds.
